This project was based on the first lockdown we were all experiencing at the time and the idea was to visualise a reality where technology would be introduced which would aid in viral detection, social distancing and would be a general extension of a phone. With this, we wanted to show it being used in a scenario as common as someone going out to buy milk.

I had the freedom to come up with a design for the visor, for which I used existing and concept references. I then modelled and shaded the visor, and once we shot the footage I also tracked, rendered and composited the shot. We ran into some difficulties regarding a full-CG shot and some tracking shots and we were eventually forced to put the project on hold as our final year studies began.

Tools:

Maya, Arnold, Photoshop, PFTrack, Nuke X, DaVinci Resolve
